Welcome to​ the Training & Resources site! This site contains materials, information, and training resources to help you be successful leading chapters and youth service clubs. Here you get access to important resources, like the Fraternal Leader Han​​dbook, which includes policies, guidelines, information and tips to help you understand your role as a fraternal leader (chapter activities coordinator or youth club leader), funding available to chapters and youth clubs, and how to host fraternal activities.​​

You'll find hundreds of activity ideas and several fraternal leader training videos. (Quizzes are included to test your knowledge.) You can request a closed Facebook group and submit your annual acknowledgment forms. Need help finding and understanding the chapter or youth club roster? We have that too! Use the links in the navigatio​n area on the left to access these and many other resources. ​

What's changing in 2024?

Click the image to the left to view ​an important message from the Fraternal Department. Then review the 2024 Fraternal Leader HandbookYou could win $25 if you sign the acknowledgment form (at the end of the handbook) and upload it to this electronic form by Nov. 30. The drawing will be held in December; 25 leaders will win.​


The premier status rating period has been lengthened from 10 months to 12 months! You now have until the end of December to complete all requirements and earn those extra funds. Thank you for your patience as we update materials and the Make An Impact system.

Complete your annual acknowledgment forms and reports.

 

All fraternal leaders (activities coordinators and youth club leaders) are required to read and acknowledge the Fraternal Leader Handbook annually. Please review the most recent handbook and submit the acknowledgment form using this electronic form


Fraternal leaders who are NOT Modern Woodmen field representatives or employees ​must read and acknowledge this Code of Conduct annually. Take action now using this electronic form.


The Equipment and Asset Report for chapters is due by April 1 annually. If you haven't done so already, complete and submit the report nowFraternal leaders should complete this on behalf of every chapter regardless of whether the chapter owns equipment or assets. Visit the Forms and Policies section of the Training & Resources site for more information about the equipment and asset policy. ​

The first mobile app for Modern Woodmen fraternal leaders is here! Fraternal Connect is a convenient application specially developed to help you take attendance electronically at fraternal activities. Click here or the image to learn more.

​DID YOU KNOW the Fraternal Department shares news and information in many ways almost weekly? Stay connected by doing these six things:

1. Keep your EMAIL updated within imakeanimpact.org. We use email to send chapter/club activity updates, time-senstivite information, and resources. Log on to imakeanimpact.org to ensure your contact information is up to date. If it's not, just click on your name in the upper right corner. Select Account and then update your information, as necessary.

2. Read the FRATERNAL LEADER UPDATE EMAIL sent monthly. These monthly emails are designed for you. They contain important news, information, and reminders about managing your chapter or youth club. Don't see it? Check your junk or spam folder.

3. Join the FRATERNAL LEADER CLOSED FACEBOOK GROUP​. Collaborate and share ideas with other fraternal leaders throughout the country. Keep up to date on news, announcements, and new training for leaders. Ask general questions related to managing a chapter or youth club. When logged into Facebook, search for “Modern Woodmen Fraternal Leaders" in Groups or go straight to the group page​.

4. Look for IMPACT MAGAZINE in your mailbox every quarter. Ideas, ideas, and more ideas. Each issue includes activity ideas from across the country. We include need-to-know news, FAQs, helpful tools, and motivation. Find past issues of Impact magazine and other activity ideas on the Activity Ideas page.

5. Take a moment to view the ANNOUNCEMENTS AREA on the log-in screen. When viewing the log-in screen (with the sunflowers) of imakeanimpact.org, pause for a few minutes to see what announcements appear just above the log-in options. We share time-sensitive information, link to helpful resources on the Training & Resources site and highlight recent communications.
